On May 3, 2019, a series of cultural exchange activities entitled "Friendly Little Ambassadors" were successfully held in the Embassy of the Republic of Zimbabwe by China Service Center for Friendship and Cooperation with Foreign Countries and Ansheng International. Ambassador of the Republic of Zimbabwe to China Paul Chikawa, Deputy Ambassador Mugabuku Spenser Dubi, Minister Counsellor Mark Katzinger attended the cultural exchange event.
The Republic of Zimbabwe, referred to as Zimbabwe, is located in the southeast of Africa inland, rich in natural resources, better industrial base. Manufacturing, agriculture and mining are the three pillars of Zimbabwe's economy. Zimbabwe means "city of Stones" in The Bantu language, and more than 200 ruins have been found in the country, The "Ruins of Great Zimbabwe" is the most famous. Zimbabwe is known as the "land of crocodiles" because it is famous for producing high quality crocodile skins.
At the event, Ms. Mark Katzinger, Minister Counsellor of the Republic of Zimbabwe to China, introduced the development of Friendship between Zimbabwe and China to the "Friendly Little Ambassadors" from various perspectives. Mr.Mugabuku Spenser Dubi, Deputy Ambassador of the Republic of Zimbabwe to China, answered each of the "Friendly Little Ambassadors" questions in detail.
During the visit, the "Friendly Little Ambassadors" from China presented a souvenir made by themselves to Mr. Paul Chikawa, Ambassador of the Republic of Zimbabwe to China. They had a good interaction with the children of the staff of the Zimbabwean Embassy and learned to dance with the Zimbabwean style.
Mr. Paul Chikawa, Ambassador of the Republic of Zimbabwe to China, cordially received each of the "Friendly Little Ambassadors" and shared his stories with us.
After the event,Mr. Paul Chikawa, Ambassador of the Republic of Zimbabwe to China, presented commemorative certificates to each of the "Friendly Little Ambassadors".
