A total of more than 300 people attended.

Liu Jinsong, Director of the Asia Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was invited to attend the reception of the National Day of Thailand, congratulated Thai Ambassador to China Atayu, and exchanged cordial and friendly greetings.The Ambassador spoke highly of the good momentum of the development of the relations between Thailand and China, and said that President Xi Jinping's visit to Thailand in November this year to meet and talk with King Wajilalongkorn and Prime Minister Bayou and reach important consensus, opening up a new era of bilateral relations, is of historic significance. The Thai side is willing to work with the Chinese side to implement the results of President Xi Jinping's visit, push the Thai-China relationship to a new level and make new contributions to international and regional peace, stability and prosperity.

The ambassador also said that the two peoples have always had mutual trust and mutual assistance, especially under the severe situation of the COVID-19, which has more effectively proved the profound friendship between the two peoples. Thailand and China have always maintained continuous cooperation in economic, trade, security and other fields. China has become Thailand's largest trading partner for 9 consecutive years, with a bilateral trade volume of 81 billion US dollars.
