In May 2023, Ansheng International was invited to visit cherry orchards and cherry processing and refrigeration plants in Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan, accompanied by officials and representatives of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan, the Department of Agriculture of the Gilgit-Baltistan, the Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Customs and the chambers of commerce of counties and cities.

Ansheng International visited four cherry orchards in the region, gained a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the cultivation, maintenance, picking and packaging of Pakistani cherries, and experienced a variety of Pakistani cherry flavors on site. Officials of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan said that the cherries produced in this region are of good quality and taste, and they hope to open up the Chinese market and use the China-Pakistan Friendship Highway to open up a new channel for Pakistani fresh fruits to enter China and create a new growth spot for bilateral trade.

In the visit of cherry processing and refrigeration plants, the person in charge of the factory warmly welcomed the Chinese cherry delegation represented by Ansheng International. Agriculture is the pillar of Pakistan’s economic development, and Pakistan will actively expand the export of Pakistani agricultural products to China so that the fruits of China-Pakistan agricultural cooperation will benefit the two peoples at an early date. The factory hopes to establish and strengthen bilateral cooperation with Ansheng International to promote successful export of Pakistani cherries, and contribute to the development of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and the upgrading of bilateral trade between the two countries.
