Initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin, the International Arctic Forum was held in Moscow in 2010. At each forum, more than 2,000 delegates from many countries around the world discuss and exchange views on Arctic development, environmental protection and international cooperation. Speech by President Putin

Wang Yang, Vice Premier of the State Council, was invited to attend the fourth International Arctic Forum "Arctic And Dialogue Areas" in Arkhangelsk, Russia, and made a speech at the opening ceremony.

Vice Premier Wang Yang said at the forum that China is an important stakeholder in Arctic affairs and has been participating in arctic affairs in accordance with the law for a long time. As a participant, builder and contributor, China is both willing and able to play a greater role in Arctic development and cooperation. China's participation in Arctic affairs is guided by the principles of respect, cooperation and sustainability.

Chinese Vice Premier Wang Yang and Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitri Rogozin co-chaired a meeting between the chairmen of the Committee for the Regular Meeting of Chinese and Russian Prime Ministers in Arkhangelsk, Russia.

At the forum, Chinese Vice Premier Wang Yang and Russian Deputy Prime Minister Rogozin respectively had cordial exchanges with representatives of Chinese entrepreneurs from our organization.

During the forum, China organized a cooperation forum for Chinese and Russian entrepreneurs to build a platform for them to carry out exchanges and practical cooperation, further promote transnational cooperation of enterprises, connect more interests and growth points of cooperation, and help Chinese and Russian enterprises develop with high quality.
