To celebrate the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Russia, China and Russia held a joint motorcycle ride on the "Road of Friendship". Cycling is a private activity organized by the Russian "Adventure" motorcycle club and supported by the Embassy of the Russian Federation in China and the Five Continents Communication Center. The opening ceremony was held at the Embassy of the Russian Federation in China on April 27, 2019, Russian Ambassador to China Mikhail Denisov, Chairman of The Russia-China Friendship Association Nikolai Mezentsev, officials of the Economic Policy Committee of the Russian Federation Council, representatives of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, the organizers, and a number of Chinese and Russian motorcycle riders attended the launching ceremony.

As a special witness of the launching ceremony of the cycling ceremony, the "Friendly Little Ambassadors" experienced real people-to-people diplomacy through the movement and passed on the friendship between the two peoples. Bearing the seeds of friendship, the "Friendly Little Ambassadors" will continue the friendship between China and Russia. They also presented precious gifts to the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Russia.

Russian Ambassador to China Jeandrei Nisov issued a small passport to the "Friendly Little Ambassadors".

This is not the first time that China and Russia have held a joint motorcycle riding event.In 2015, China and Russia held a motorcycle ride from Beijing to Irkutsk to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the victory of the World Anti-Fascist War and the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression. In 2016, the "China-Yekaterinburg" motorcycle riding activity was held again under the framework of the China-Russia Expo.

Yuri, a leading Russian rider who has worked in China for 10 years, said, "In Russia, people always hold cycling ceremonies when there are weddings, birthdays, graduations and other important events. I love cycling because it's a state of freedom that connects people from different places, professions and identities. I hope to offer a gift for the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Russia through the motorcycle cycling activity."
