Independent on November 3, 1978, Dominica is an island country located in the northeast of the Windward Islands in the Eastern Caribbean Sea of North America. It covers an area of 751 square kilometers and has a population of about 73,000 people. Despite its small size, Dominica has beautiful scenery and a pleasant climate. The island is lush all the year round with exotic flowers and tropical plants. Often referred to as the garden of the Caribbean, it is a famous tourist destination with its charming tropical rain forests, delightful coral viewing areas, haunting sulfur springs, and natural oxygen bars.
On July 11, 2019, the event was initiated by the Chinese Service Center for Friendship and Cooperation with Foreign Countries(CSC) and Ansheng International and 23 Chinese Friendly Little Ambassadors joined it. They walked into the Embassy of the Republic of Dominica in China. The Ambassador, H.E. Martin Charles, led them to enjoy the charm of the Caribbean back garden.
The event began with various of group photos. In order to close the relationship, Mr. Ambassador specially put the photo session where he could get close to the children in the first place. Led by Mr. Ambassador, our children quickly integrated into the activity.
After taking group photos, Mr. Ambassador had a deep exchange with the visiting ambassadors. Not only to tell the children about Dominic's history, current situation, and the development of friendly relations with China, etc. he also shared his experience of officiating international matches as a FIFA referee. The Little ambassadors also spoke fluent English and shared their interesting stories with the Ambassador, which made the Ambassador laugh constantly. The atmosphere was harmonious.
During the interactivity, Mr. Ambassador prepared a rich "afternoon dessert" for everyone. From pizza to potato chips, from drinks to after-dinner fruits, the children watched Dominic's documentary while eating, and communicated with each other about the interaction with the Ambassador from time to time. In a relaxed and happy atmosphere, the children not only relaxed but also learned knowledge. Everyone's face was full of happy smiles.
In the following part of the talent show, children prepared a number of different styles of talent. There were Chinese characteristics of the Ruan solo, melodious violin solo, the street dance performance full of youth and vitality. The ambassador also danced happily with the children to the dynamic hip-hop music.
At the end of the activity, the children who had spent an unforgettable afternoon presented the ambassador with their well-prepared gifts. The Ambassador took a photo with each child and gave souvenirs in return.
