On the afternoon of August 26, 2019, the "Friendship Ambassadors" series of youth international exchange activities initiated and hosted by the China Service Center for Friendship and Cooperation with Foreign Countries(CSC) and Ansheng International came to a perfect end at the Embassy of the Hellenic Republic in China. Mr.Leonidas Rokanas, Ambassador of the Hellenic Republic to China, delivered a speech and had cordial interaction with the "Friendly Little Ambassadors".

This time, the "Friendly Little Ambassadors" walked into the Embassy of the Hellenic Republic in China.After watching the Greek short film, Mr. Leonidas Rokanas, Ambassador of the Hellenic Republic to China, gave a welcome speech and told some interesting Greek stories.He warmly answered the fresh and interesting questions of the "Little Ambassadors", fully mobilized the enthusiasm of them to explore Greece, and gained a deeper understanding of Greece, which is an ancient country with bright human civilization. 

Mr. Leonidas Rokanas, Ambassador of the Hellenic Republic to China, presented the children with the "Friendly Little Ambassadors" certificate of honor, and received a letter of thanks from Mr. Yu Xiaodong, Office Director of China Service Center for Friendship and Cooperation with Foreign Countries, to thank the Greek Embassy for its support for this youth diplomacy activity.

Another important part of the visit is to focus on the epic of Homer. With the narration of Teacher luo, the special guest, the "Friendly Little Ambassadors" understood that The Odyssey and the Iliad were the two most important epics of ancient Greece and the foundation works of Western literature.It is not only the mark of ancient Greek civilization, but also an important spiritual heritage of western civilization. Through the vivid characters in the epic, we can really feel the infinite vitality of ancient Greek cultural spirit.

Odysseus, the hero of Homer's epic "Odyssey" story, had a thrilling ten-year voyage, a thrilling struggle...Make small "Little Ambassadors" sometimes surprised sigh, sometimes laugh.

After the wonderful class, the "Little Ambassadors" were invited to play the Odyssey role-playing interactive game together.Under the leadership of the staff and teachers of the Cultural Office of the Embassy of the Hellenic Republic in China, the students actively spread their thinking and brainstorm, and vividly performed the classic characters and elements such as "Cyclops", "Odysseus's Palace" and "Odysseus' Boat" in everyone's mind.

Through such interactive games, the mythological characters are vividly displayed, and the little "Friendly Little Ambassadors" have a deeper impression on the fairy tales of ancient Greece. At the same time, they also have a strong interest in learning, and yearn for the beautiful Greece. 

At the end of the game, Mr. Haenfer, the Press and Education Counselor of the Embassy of the Republic of Greece in China, and Mr. Ramprolos Kazes, the first Press Secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Greece in China, jointly issued the "Friendly Passport" to the "Friendly Little Ambassadors", and gave each one a gift with Greek characteristics.

From the perspective of literary works to open the mysteries of an ancient civilization, we believed that this activity walked into the Embassy of the Hellenic Republic in China for "Friendly Little Ambassadors" brought an unprecedented unforgettable experience. In a piece of laughter, the event ended successfully.
