On July 12th, 2023, Chairperson Yang Tingting and CEO Zhang Liqiang attended the Forum on International Cooperation and Investment Opportunities in Egypt at the invitation of H.E. Ambassador Assem Hanafi. This forum was arranged in honor of H.E. Minister Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of the Ministry of International Cooperation.

Minister Rania stressed in her speech that Egypt regards China as an important partner and has been strengthening the connectivity with China in the fields of economy, trade and investment, and promoting the cross-border flow and exchanges of trade and personnel between the two countries. The comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Egypt is long-standing and the two countries has close communication and are stepping forward for more economic cooperation. The ongoing cooperative projects are the best testimony to the development of bilateral relations.

Minister Rania delivered a speech and introduced cooperation and investment opportunities in Egypt

Minister Rania highlighted the cooperation and investment projects in key industries in Egypt, as well as the government policy support to the above projects. Further cooperation was expected to be enhanced with Chinese enterprises.

H.E.Assem Hanafi, Ambassador of Egypt to China, Ms. Randa Hamzam, assistant Minister of Ministry of International Cooperation, official from relevant departments and invited enterprise representatives attended this forum.
