İsmail Hakkı Musa, Turkish Ambassador to China, said, “This year we will celebrate the 500th anniversary of the establishment of the Turkish Foreign Ministry, the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Turkey, and the 52nd anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkey and China. I would like to touch on two key aspects of Turkey's relationship with China. First, the connection between Turkey and China dates back centuries, when our ancestors interacted through the historic Silk Road. This interaction, which is largely based on the exchange of goods, has progressed politically and socio-culturally over time. From e-commerce to telecommunications, from renewable energy to electric vehicles, from cloud technology to the defense industry... We have forged new partnerships with China in a wide range of areas. ”

"Second, we need to strengthen ties and deepen cooperation. The cooperation we have shown so far is valuable, but not enough. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative, and while the dynamics between East and West are changing rapidly, Turkey's Middle Corridor initiative offers an important opportunity to improve China's relations with Europe and beyond." Whether it is history, geography, technology, strategy, global dynamics, or consensus, all invite the people of Turkey and China to work more closely together. The Turkish Embassy in Beijing and the Presidential Office of Investment and including the 4 Consulates General recently established in Chengdu are ready to provide you with the necessary support and assistance.”

Ahmet Burak Dağlıoğlu, President of the Investment Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye, delivered a speech
Ahmet Burak Dağlıoğlu, President of the Investment Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye, also said, “Since 2003, Turkey's GDP has grown at a compound annual growth rate of 5.4 percent and has attracted more than $250 billion in foreign direct investment. About 80,000 international companies operate in Turkey. Turkey has become an export hub for its region. Relations between Turkey and China have a long history and special friendship. In recent years, under the Belt and Road Initiative, Turkey has attracted numerous Chinese companies in the finance, manufacturing, energy, electronics and infrastructure sectors. Today, Turkey is home to more than 1,200 Chinese companies, which have invested more than $3 billion in Turkey. Today, as we enter the 'Turkish century' under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, our goal is to become one of the top ten economies in the world. We warmly invite Chinese investors to invest in Turkey and we are always ready to serve you in Turkey and China.”

Salim Arda Ermut, the CEO and board member of the Türkiye Wealth Fund, delivered a speech
Salim Arda Ermut, the CEO and board member of the Türkiye Wealth Fund, said, "This event is also of great significance to the friendship between China and Turkey, while promoting the strengthening of bilateral relations in terms of investment opportunities. In the 'Turkish Century', the Turkish Wealth Fund will play a key role in shaping the Turkish economic landscape, leveraging its strategic assets, and positioning Turkey as an attractive investment destination." With assets of over $300 billion, the Turkish Wealth Fund is one of the largest financial institutions in Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa. As an important regional financial center in the future, we hope to see and welcome companies and banks from China to set up offices here and further contribute positively to the cultural and economic relations between the two countries. China is undoubtedly an important player in the region and the world. Today, we see the continued impact of China's Belt and Road Initiative, and we will continue to witness its even more prominent and important impact in the future. ”
