On August 7th, 2023, the Philippines - China Investment Fair, hosted by infrastructure construction company Aboitiz InfraCapital and co-organized by Philippine Trade and Investment Center - Beijing and Philippine Board of Investment, was held in Beijing. Anna Rosario Malindog-Uy, vice president of Asian Century Philippines Strategic Studies Institute, told the media that the cooperation between the two countries in economic and infrastructure has made great progress, but there is still more room for further partnership and cooperation. In the future, the two countries should continue to strengthen two-way trade and investment, and vigorously promote bilateral infrastructure cooperation projects to continue to "take root" and "bear fruit".
