On March 28th, 2024, the meeting of the fifth committee of China-Cuba Friendship Association was held in the auditorium of the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries(CPAFFAC). The following officials presented at the venue and they are Mr. Bater, vice-chairman of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference(CPPCC) , Mr. YANG Wanming, president of the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, and Mr. LIU Bo, counsellor of the Department of Latin American and Caribbean Affairs of Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Ansheng International's chairperson Ms. YANG Tingting was invited to the meeting.

During the meeting, institutional members and independent members reviewed and approved the report submitted by the fourth committee, unanimous voted on the <Statutes of China-Cuba Friendship Association(Revised)>, and elected the president, vice president and secretary general of the fifth committee. Ansheng International was invited to be an institutional member of the fifth Committee of China-Cuba Friendship Association and Ms. YANG Tingting was invited to be an independent member.

Mr. Bater, vice-chairman of 14th CPPCC, was elected to be the president of the fifth committee of China-Cuba Friendship Association. He said that it is the responsibility of CCFA to deepen the mutual understanding and people-to-people friendship between Cuba and China, and CCFA will work for facilitating their friendly communication and cooperation for win-win results so as to jointly build a community with a shared future not only for people in China and Cuba but also for mankind.

Mr. YANG Wanming, president of CPAFFA, congratulated on the success of holding this meeting and the election of new board of the committee. He said that CPAFFA will give full support to the committee and hopefully members from various fields will utilize their intelligence and resources to promoting the in-depth cooperation between the countries. Committee members are expected to be active promoters and key players in building the shared future and deepening practical cooperation between China and Cuba.

Ansheng International, as the representative of economic and cultural sector, has been actively participating in the practical cooperation with Cuba in multiple fields. With the support form CPAFFC and Cuba Embassy in China, Ansheng International has been dedicated to expanding economic and trade cooperation with Cuba, introducing Chinese companies to Cuba and promoting Cuban culture in China. Ansheng International will further explore new ways and paths and endeavour to expand the depth and breadth of its cooperation with Cuba.
