China stands ready to work with Vietnam to further deepen practical economic and trade cooperation, taking the commemoration of diplomatic relations as an opportunity. China has long been Vietnam's largest trading partner, while Vietnam is China's foremost trading partner within ASEAN. Both sides continue to advance investment cooperation, with China's cumulative investment in Vietnam exceeding US$24 billion, spanning emerging sectors such as manufacturing, the digital economy and green energy. Major cooperative projects such as the China-Vietnam Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone and smart city development are progressing steadily, while cross-border economic cooperation zones and infrastructure connectivity have yielded significant results. China is willing to advance bilateral cooperation comprehensively towards the goal of ‘six further enhancements’, deepen supply chain coordination and regional development alignment, and inject new impetus into building a strategically significant China-Vietnam community with a shared future and serving the modernisation processes of both nations.
