On the evening of October 30, the China-Mexico Friendship Jazz Concert, hosted by Ansheng International, co-hosted by the China Service Center for Friendship and Cooperation with Foreign Countries and the Embassy of the United States of Mexico in China, supported by the Western Theater of Beijing and the Bureau of Cultural and Diplomatic Affairs of the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs, performed brilliantly in Beijing.

Ambassador of the United States of Mexico to China, H.E.Jose Luis Bernal, secretary general of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, Mr.Li Xikui, deputy director of the China Service Center for Friendship and Cooperation with Foreign Countries, Mr.Hu Yang, office director of the China Service Center for Friendship and Cooperation with Foreign Countries, Mr.Yu Xiaodong, diplomats from various embassies in China and other guests attended the concert.

The whole show was colorful. Mr. Eduardo Bortolotti, an outstanding young violinist from Mexico, presented the audience with traditional Mexican music and original works with jazz flavor. The unique performance style and neoteric performance form make the audience fresh and new.

Secretary general of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, Mr.Li Xikui believed that the event will surely narrow the distance between the two peoples and further deepen the friendship between China and Mexico.

The Ambassador said that the friendly concert provided an opportunity to strengthen bilateral cultural cooperation and exchanges. In the future, the Embassy will hold more activities and hope the Chinese people will have more opportunities to experience the energy and enthusiasm of Mexico.
