On the evening of October 28, guests gathered at the Beijing Western Theater. The "Feel Montenegro in Beijing" event begun, which co-hosted by the China Service Center for Friendship and Cooperation with Foreign Countries and the Montenegrin Embassy in China, supported by Western Theater and overseas film festivals. It is the first time for the Montenegrin Embassy in China to hold a large-scale cultural promotion activity in Beijing, integrating tourism promotion, wine tasting and food tasting and classic film screening. Hu Yang, Deputy Director of the China Service Center for Friendship and Cooperation with Foreign Countries, Darko Pajovic, Ambassador of Montenegro to China, officials from the Montenegro government, dozens of business people and more than 100 audiences attended the event.

Montenegro is a beautiful country of mountains and sea, the back garden of Europe. It is a place in the Balkans where the architecture is intact in the style of a medieval town with a strong sense of European heritage and the vicissitudes of the postwar era. In the showing of the National Promotional Video of Montenegro, The ancient cities more romantic than Greece, the sea and sky bluer than Turkey and the rich natural landscape deeply attracted all the audiences. During the food tasting session, the speciality of dried ham and fruity red wine from Montenegro immediately caught the taste buds of the guests. The aftertaste is endless.

Montenegro is part of the One Belt And One Road initiative and is also a member of CEEC. There is a lot of room for cooperation in culture, art and many other areas. In fact, Montenegro and China are not that far away, and culture is the best way to bridge the distance between the two peoples. Chinese audiences have been familiar with the Yugoslav movie "The Bridge" for decades, in which the bridge over the Tala Canyon in Montenegro is the prototype. The exchange of films, tourism and food between the two countries is not only conducive to cultural cooperation, but also can pave the way for economic and trade cooperation.

Hu Yang, deputy director of the China Service Center for Friendship and Cooperation with Foreign Countries, said in his speech at the event that the people of China and Montenegro share profound friendship and the friendship between the two countries is rooted in the people and rooted in tradition. Both sides have been actively exploring new ways of cooperation and expanding areas of cooperation in both cultural and economic fields. More and more Chinese people have come to know Montenegro and more and more entrepreneurs have begun to invest in Montenegro. These are all manifestations of deepening cooperation and enhancing friendship between the two countries.

H.E.Darko Pajovic,Ambassador of Montenegro to China, warmly invited Chinese friends to visit Montenegro in his speech, hoping that they could deepen their understanding of Montenegro through tourism, food and movies, and feel the beauty of Montenegro together. He also thanked the China Service Center for Friendship and Cooperation with Foreign Countries for the help and support in co-hosting the event.

During the classic film screening, more than 200 audience watched the movie "Bridge" with the Ambassador and officials from the government of Montenegro. Whenever the melody of "Ah, friends, goodbye" sounded, the audience felt cordial.

China and Montenegro have become good friends and partners, and the flower of friendship between China and Montenegro will blossom even more gorgeously with the deepening of practical cooperation between the two countries.The China Service Center for Friendship and Cooperation with Foreign Countries will continue to cooperate with the Montenegrin Embassy in China to jointly hold more activities, so that more people can experience the beauty of Montenegro.
