On the morning of 6th local time, supported by Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and Chinese Artists Association, hosted by Chinese Friends International Art Exchange Academy, co-organized by Chinese Commercial Counsellor and Entrepreneur Association, Chinese Entrepreneur Development Alliance, Russian Asian Industrial Entrepreneurs Federation, Nanjing Normal University and Jiangsu Flower and Bird Research Association, undertaken by Ansheng International , "Art In China -- Xu Peichen's Painting and Calligraphy exhibition in Russia" was held in Moscow Duma. Zhang Xiao, Minister-Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Russia, former Deputy Prime Minister Shahrai of Russia, Mezinski, Minister of Culture of Russia, Zyuganov, Vice Chairman of the Moscow Duma, Hu Sishe, Vice President of Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, Wang Heshan, Secretary General of China Friendship Art Exchange and over hundreds of representatives from different sectors joint the opening ceremony.
Xu Peichen's more than 70 traditional Chinese painting works are on display in this exhibition, which are rich in forms and broad in subject matter, including flower, bird and landscape works. They are Xu Peichen's best works in 2017.
Xu Peichen told reporters that he hopes to bring a visual feast of Chinese ape painting to the Russian people through the exhibition, contribute to the world's understanding of Chinese culture and promote cultural exchanges between China and Russia.
At the opening ceremony, Xu also presented his works to the Moscow Duma, the Moscow State Academy of Academic Arts and the Federation of Asian Industrial Entrepreneurs in Russia, and awarded Xu a certificate of collection.
Xu Peichen, professor of academy of fine arts of Nanjing Normal University, doctoral supervisor, mentor post-doctoral mobile stations (fine arts), the tenth CPPCC member of Jiangsu province, member of Chinese Artists Association, deputy director of art exchange institute of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, Vice president of Friendship Art Exchange Institute, Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee, provincial government decision-making consulting base -- Jiangsu Province art potential province construction research base chief expert, Librarian of Jiangsu Institute of Literature and History, President of Jiangsu Flower and Bird Painting Research Association. Xu Peichen is good at painting landscapes, figures, flowers and birds, and is especially famous for his paintings of apes and monkeys in Chinese painting circles.
