China and Albania have signed the "Trade Agreement", the "Agreement between the Government of the People's Republic of China and Government of the Republic of Albania concerning the Encouragement and Reciprocal Protection of Investments", and the "Agreement for the avoidance of double taxation and the prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to taxes on income and on capital". The Joint Committee on Economic and Technical Cooperation between the two governments was established in 1989. In June 2016, China and Albania signed the "Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement between China and Albania."
