To celebrate the republic day of Kazakhstan, the embassy of The Republic of Kazakhstan hosted a reception in Beijing on November 29th. H.E. Nuryshev Shakhrat, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to China, and Ms. HUA Chunying, assistant foreign minister attended the reception and delivered speeches. Chairperson Ms. YANG Tingting and CEO Mr. ZHANG Liqiang were invited to the event.

H.E. Nuryshev Shakhrat addressed in his speech that China put forward the Belt and Road Initiative in Kazakhstan, which was the starting point of cooperation under the frame work of the Belt and Road Initiative. Besides, heads of state of Kazakhstan and China announced in last year that the two countries would work together to create the next 30 years of golden time. Impressive progress was made. Kazakhstan is the transportation and logistic hub to connect Asia and Europe, and the Belt and Road Initiative has become a important driving force for the economic and trade cooperation between China and Kazakhstan.

Ms. HUA Chunying gave a brief introduction of the achievements from practical cooperation between China and Kazakhstan, and the two countries have been maintaining close collaboration within international frameworks. She said, China and Kazakhstan are developing countries and are at the critical stage of national revitalization. In this case, collaboration under the consensus of heads of the two states plays an important role and they shall fully deepen cooperation to create a community with shared future.
