On May 28th, 2024, a delegation from Ansheng International was invited to visit the Cardenas I solar power plant in Matanzas Province, Cuba. Mr. Yosuán Ortega Pérez who is responsible for the operation of the plant, received the delegation and gave an introduction to the construction and operation of the park.

Inaugurated in 2019, the Cardenas I solar power plant in Matanzas province, with 11,700 solar panels and an installed capacity of 3.75 MW, has generated more than 31,000 kWh of electricity to date, averaging more than 6,000 kWh of electricity annually. It is providing permanent cleanliness to more than 2,500 households nearby. The inauguration of several solar power plants in the province demonstrates the Cuban government's efforts to promote the transition of the power generation to green energy, contributing to the upgrading and development of the country's electricity system.
