On the afternoon of October 16, Yang Tingting, Chairperson of Ansheng International, led a delegation to the Embassy of Botswana. They held a meeting with Batlang Serema, the Ambassador of Botswana to China, Counsellor Marang Motlaleng, and Dr. Laone Pearl Selala, First Secretary of the Embassy. The discussions focused on the results of the September visit to Botswana and the advancement of future cooperation. Both sides engaged in in-depth exchanges on key topics including energy projects, engineering models, medical cooperation, and the construction of a national pavilion, while jointly looking forward to new cooperative opportunities marking the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Botswana.

I. Deepening Multi-sector Cooperation for Sustainable Development

During the meeting, both parties reviewed the progress of cooperation in sectors such as energy, infrastructure, healthcare, and agricultural trade. Chairperson Yang Tingting expressed gratitude to the Botswana Embassy for its support during the September inspection and emphasized Ansheng International's commitment to promoting the implementation of key projects to support Botswana's economic and social development.

II. Promoting the Entry of Characteristic Products into China and Jointly Building a National Pavilion Platform

Ansheng International delegation shared the outcomes of its field research in Botswana and introduced plans to facilitate the entry of Botswana's characteristic products into the Chinese market. Ambassador Batlang Serema highly appreciated Ansheng International's active promotion of Botswana's products and pledged full support for market access and the construction of the national pavilion, aiming to elevate China-Botswana economic and trade cooperation to a new level.

III. Jointly Welcoming the 50th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations and Writing a New Chapter of Friendship

The year 2025 marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Botswana. Both sides agreed that this significant milestone is not only a testament to the friendly relations between the two countries but also a new starting point for future cooperation. To commemorate this special occasion, Ansheng International specially designed commemorative jackets for the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations and presented them to the Botswana Embassy, symbolizing the enduring friendship and shared vision for common development. The Botswanan side expressed their gratitude and looked forward to using the 50th anniversary as an opportunity to engage in practical cooperation across more sectors, bringing tangible benefits to the peoples of both nations.
