"Silk Road Friendship Future Cooperation" Ambassador’s Campus Tour Activity co-hosted by China Service Center for Friendship and Cooperation with Foreign Countries, Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines, Shaanxi People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, Foreign Affairs Office of Xi’an Municipal People's Government. The activity is an important part of the theme activity of "Silk Road Friendship Future Cooperation" Ambassador's Chang 'an Trip, aiming to highlight the unique positioning of Shaanxi in "One Belt And One Road" and serve the construction of it.

The Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines in China issued a certificate of appreciation to Xi 'an International University for the warm and friendly campus visit, which enhanced the understanding and friendship between the two sides.Mr. Huang Teng, Chairman of Xi 'an International University, presented Ambassador Romana with a musical instrument with Chinese cultural characteristics, including the "Seven Facets of Chang 'an" Guqin specially made by Xi 'an International University of Guqin Factory. The gift meant that the friendship is as everlasting as mountains and rivers between two sides.

Ambassador Romana and his delegation were warmly welcomed by the teachers and students of Xi 'an International University(XAIU). President Huang Teng delivered a warm speech and introduced to the Ambassador and his delegation the development history, characteristics of XAIU and educational exchanges and cooperation with "One Belt And One Road" countries.

Ambassador Romana and his delegation visited the School of Humanities and Arts, the School of Business and the Zhengmeng College, which is responsible for general education. During their visits, Ambassador Romana and his delegation made detailed inquiries and had an in-depth understanding of international Chinese language education, accounting, logistics management, air stewardship and other specialties. At Zhengmeng College, Ambassador Romana was very interested in learning about Chinese rubbings, listening to the performance of Guqin and the introduction of Guqin music. he had a close look at the elegant and simple Chinese charm of Guqin and the ancient Chinese culture.

Bianzhong "Chaoyue", ancient music ensemble "Battle Hymn of the King" and "Qingping Music", etc., fully show the ancient charm of the traditional music culture of the ancient capital Chang'an, which is highly recognized by the ambassador.

At the end of the performance, the Ambassador also experienced the performance of bianzhong, an ancient Chinese musical instrument, and took photos with the performers.
